Acts 1:6-8 NKJV
[6] Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” [7] And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. [8] But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
I can't tell you how many times I have wished for a snapshot into God's plans. I'm not big on unplanned surprises. As I have studied, learned, and grown, I have realized that uncertainty is not a place for anxiety. It is an opportunity for spiritual growth and the development of a stronger faith.
None of us are equipped to know the mind of God. We aren't designed to bear the burden of the future. We were designed to live a life of constant dependence on God and trust His plans through the process. He is always working in us, through us, and on our behalf. We have the promises written in His word.
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
